Welcome to the Clinical Trials Office of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and New York-Presbyterian Hospital.  Our mission is to facilitate quality clinical trial research – the effective and efficient evaluation of new pharmaceuticals and medical devices – by providing the Columbia University Medical Center research community with administrative services that help move trials quickly from initial proposal through contract execution.

We assist with trials supported by federal and foundation grants and industry contracts, including investigator-initiated trials.  Our services include study placement, IRB and other regulatory guidance, comprehensive budget preparation and contract negotiation, Spanish translation and review services, centralized database access to achieve target recruitment, and training initiatives to assure expert study coordination. 

Our Web site offers many useful features, such as online study submission and real-time tracking of pre-award negotiations and post-award receipts.
